Recent Higher Court Decisions Re: Parental Alienation

References to parental alienation and parental alienation syndrome are becoming common in decisions rendered by Courts of Appeal and Supreme Courts. Citing these decisions in legal briefs, motions, and other documents may assist trial courts in cases that raise allegations that one parent is undermining a child’s relationship with the other parent.
